Dr. Blackburn is a Clinical Instructor in geriatric psychiatry at UBC and former board member and chair of the Education Committee for the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry. He has a passion for education and completed his Post-Master’s Certificate in Evidence-Based Teaching in the Health Professions at Johns Hopkins University. He has a mixed clinical practice working in tertiary older adult mental health, electro convulsive therapy and the Geriatric Psychiatry Outreach Team.
